Park Elementary Greenhouse Ribbon Cutting

CCGP Board members gather with Casper Area Chamber of Commerce to dedicate the new four season greenhouse at Park Elementary School.

From dream board to reality, see how much work and collaboration it takes to build a classroom greenhouse.

It takes commitment and community to put something like this together and keep it running for future students to reap the benefits of a school greenhouse.

Thank you to Principal Emily Catellier, her staff, and the Park School Garden Club for working with us to help provide a learning space for STEAM as well as business/entrepreneurial practices. We appreciate the hard work and dedication of the Park School Parent Group, most notably Justin Lavin.

The Casper Community Greenhouse Project worked with Park School to receive the USDA grant that purchased the greenhouse kit to make this all possible. Our VP LeAnn Miller has worked many long hours to make sure building permits, instructions/parts, and Caspar Building were laying the ground work for this school greenhouse to be ready for its students.

We could not have done this without our wonderful community and collaborators. Thank you also to Checked In Media (Adam Amick) for helping us tell our story!
