We Grow Casper's Future.
The Casper Community Greenhouse Project is a 501c3 nonprofit organization based in Casper, Wyoming, with a mission to educate and mentor through hands-on agricultural experiences.
We connect youth, families, schools, volunteers, and community partners to food, agriculture, conservation, nutrition, and health through greenhouses, school gardens, community farming, outdoor learning, and leadership development.
Our work began through school-based greenhouse and garden partnerships, including early collaborations with Mills Elementary School, where students helped bring an outdoor education vision to life. Over time, CCGP helped expand this work into Farm to School programming that included greenhouse education, garden clubs, aquaponics, nutrition learning, and hands-on curriculum. That momentum grew into partnerships with Journey Elementary, Evansville Elementary, and Park Elementary.
In 2023, CCGP received a USDA Urban Agriculture and Innovative Production grant to expand our programming and support the development of the Grow Casper Education Farm and Greenhouse in partnership with Wyoming Medical Center. In 2024, we expanded Farm to School activities at Park Elementary School, helping more students experience the power of growing, harvesting, and learning from the land.
At CCGP, we believe greenhouses and gardens are more than growing spaces. They are classrooms, community hubs, leadership labs, and places of healing, discovery, and connection.
